You might be wondering what Santa Claus has to do with Business Professionals of America (BPA). The answer: He is our CFR (Chief Fund-Raiser). Yes, in expectation of a group of 4-6 BPA-ers going to the state competition, this year held in Dallas, we needed some funds for our traveling expenses. The best fundraiser we were able to come up with was inviting all the teachers of RISD with young children to come and get their picture taken with Santa for the low, low price of $8. We didn’t make that much. Maybe enough for gas and a hotel room. But, you know, a little is better than nothing.
“BPA all the way!”
Yeah, I’m gonna go to bed.
