The Andrew-Taylor Experience

Andrew-Taylor Experience

Taylor H. and I run this great little group called The Andrew-Taylor Experience.  We always have a lot of fun and stuff.  We usually meet at 6 as part of Shift Small Groups. Yesterday though, we met up at the church after 3rd service and went out for a day of fun.  As you can see in the picture, a good time was had by all.  For those of you that don’t recognize the “hot spot” pictured above, I’ll give you a hint:  What’s on the corner of Broadway and I-30, and makes the best Tacos that Garland has ever seen?  The answer: Taco Casa!

Taco Casa has been a love of mine for a while now, and being able to take my small group there was a dream come true.  After stuffing 4 of the most wonderfully made tacos in to my stomach I didn’t really think the day could get any better,  but it did.  From the Casa we continued in to Garland (AKA: G-Town) and proceeded to “Thrift”.  I’ll take a moment to explain the word Thrift.  Its the act of buying things (clothes, furniture, oddities, old TV’s, and the such) all used from a store that sells nothing but used stuff.  Its an experience.

The reason for our expidition was that on Wed. night, Paradigm is hosting the most awesome Christmas Party this year.  Its a “dress-up” party, each group is supposed to dress up like their favorite time period (oh, if you go to Paradigm and are reading this, I just want to remind you that if you aren’t in a small group, that you should still come, just pick an era, or a group, and come like it, or them).  Yeah, so are group picked the ’20’s.  I think its going to be “roaring”.  At Thrift City I picked up an awesome striped suit, with suspenders, and a tie.  I can’t wait for Wednesday!
