Today’s post is a two for one sort of thing.  The first part is about Paradigm.  Paradigm is the youth group I go to.  Its a branch of LakeShore church in Rockwall.  I like it a lot.  I’d say its the best youth group ever but I’m probably a little biased.  I’m probably a lot biased.  Anyways, tonight we had our usual Wed. night service [they start at 6:45 if you want to swing by sometime] and since its February–the love month–we did a message series on relationships.  I had enjoyed it thus far but tonight was better than I had expected.  We had 3 couples represented, an engaged couple, a newly-wed couple, and a couple that had been married for 23.5 years.  They talked about: their history of relationships prior to meeting their spouse/fiance, how they met, what they did as a couple, how what they did [good and bad] has effected them [good and bad].  

It was super informative and real.  Many times we [youth] are discouraged by pastors and elders saying that “Dating starts with a ‘D’ and so does devil.  They are both bad”  But Pstr. Nick took a pretty cool stance on it all and showed that not all dating itself isn’t wrong its just when and how you do it that can get you into headache and heartache.

The second part of this post has to do with this picture I put up.  Its a little somethin’-somethin’ that I designed.  I don’t know what its full purpose is yet.  I suppose if I had to classify it, it would most closely relate a poster.  A 11”x17” poster.  It is a print design, and its actually slightly different then what you see her [for some reason it changed when I downsized it].
