I actually went back to school on Tuesday, but I forgot to write about it yesterday.
Anyways, the return to school inevitably the return to cafeteria food. At times I’ve been said to have mixed feelings on the subject of cafeteria food, but I think in all honesty its really bad. Granted some food items are better than others, and take in to consideration that it could also be worse–but all in all its really kind of gross. I’ll further illustrate my point with this picture taken from today’s lunch:
As I was walking through the lunch line I saw this banana [which was the “kelly green” in color], so I grabbed it. I paid and went and sat down. After eating some of the other items I had gotten [which weren’t that good] I turned to the banana hoping that it wouldn’t be tainted by the cafeteria. It was. First off it wouldn’t peel, then when I did finally pry it open it revealed a banana that was hard, not soft. When I bit into it immediately my mouth went super dry. Super dry! It was so crazy that I insisted everyone try a bite. They all did and quickly regretted it because it was so awful.
RHS cafeteria, this one goes out to you.
