Merry-Go-Round

On the Merry-Go-Round

Alright, hold on just a second.  I know what you’re thinking, “That’s not a merry-go-round!  Who does this guy think he is?”  But I forgot to get a picture of the merry-go-round, and this is the next best picture, so lets just go with it.

I’ll set the scene for you.  It was about 6:15 and my small group was meeting with a couple others at Harry Myers Park in Rockwall.  Once we got there we hung out a while at the playground.  First we fooled around on that thing pictured above [I don’t know what its called] and then we found the merry-go-round.  And that’s when the real fun started!

So get this:  I’m on the go-round, going around and around, and everything starts to go blurry.  And its not just the, “Oh, I’m spinning around really fast and can’t see anything”  No, it was more blurrier than normal, so I was like, “Wow, make it stop”.  The guys spinning it slowed it for me, and I jumped off.  I took 2 steps and the blurry vision was throwing me off so I thought I could do a better job if I tried walking with my eyes closed.  I closed them and then almost immediately felt wood chips and a hard hit to my left side.

Everyone who saw it said it was crazy intense.  I took like 4 steps, they all thought I was fine, and then I just tanked.  I didn’t even feel myself falling, I thought I was still walking tall until I felt myself hit the ground.

Afterwards we played Kick-ball,
