Tonight was the student leader fun-night.  For those of you that are new to my life, I’m a student leader at Paradigm, and therefore went with the others to have a night of team-building fun.  Which we did by the way.  But only because of some convincing on our [the student leaders] part.  

Originally, Taylor and Jed wanted to take us to go see Penelope [the new movie about the girl with the pig nose]  a number of us thought that the movie would be lame and didn’t want to go see it.  The other half that didn’t really feel strongly either way about the movie thought seeing a movie [in which we would all have to be quiet] defeated the purpose of a “team-building” activity.  Basically, we wouldn’t be able to get to know each other at all [which in my opinion was a very good point].  So with much persuasion we convinced them to change the activity to something more involving.

This evening we went out to the North-park area, ate dinner at Free-Birds, then went into the mall.  Once there we Rendezvoused at StarBucks.  After fueling up with caffeine we played a round of “Speed Friendship”, its like a version of speed dating except you’re just trying to get to know people as friends.  From there we headed out into the mall to do a scavenger hunt.  We split up into two teams and had a list of things to find/take a picture with.  It was pretty cool except that we had forgotten you can’t take pictures in most stores, so we were quickly told not to take pictures by many an employee.
