Most of the time the term “live blog” refers to a blog that will auto refresh every x minutes and new content will appear. These usually happen at events like the premier of the office, or the Apple presentations that Steve Jobs gives.
Today I’m using the term in a way that few people have before. I’m using it to describe a blog [entry] that is being written spur the moment.
This may come as a shock to many of you, because this implies that my other entries have been preconceived. Well, Surprise! The quick wits and cutting banter of Andrew Nemeth don’t always flow as quickly as I’d like so I sometimes [most of the time] have to sit down and pre-write or at least plan out what I’m going to write about. Some of you might still be lost, to you: Don’t worry about it, just skip this paragraph.
I’m sitting at Chiloso. Partially because its my favorite Mexican bistro [sorry Alan] and partially because it is within walking distance from my office. And on this particular day Emily has my truck, so I was forced to “kick-it” somewhere with in walking distance.
I just enjoyed some chips and salsa. Pstr. Nick knows that I can do some serious damage to chips and salsa [allusion to a somewhat inside joke where within 20 minutes my table asked for 2 refills on salsa while the other tables hadn't even touched theirs]. I limited myself to just one basket of chips, I had eaten a large lunch.
Well, I feel like this is going to be the start of a good weekend. Catch you cats on later!
Andrew Nemeth
