My MacBook died today. Hard drive failure.

Fortunately I had been backing everything up about once a week. So other than losing some notes and some pictures I still have all my files, I just can’t get to them. I took my computer into Apple and they diagnosed the problem and fortunately my computer was still under warranty so they are going to repair it at no cost to me
Legends of Rock

Last night a group of people came over to watch the season finale of LOST. It was intense, I won’t ruin it for anyone by talking about it though. Afterwards London S., Angela M., Trish K., and myself were hanging out and we decided to go to walmart to pick up some bandanas. ”Why bandanas?” you might ask, well

Would you like some cake, sir?
Today I was sitting at lunch, I had just finished all my food and so I was listening to the conversation when a fellow student walked up to me and offered me a piece of cake saying something to the effect of, “Would you like a piece of cake, sir?”
Now, I’ll interject here for a moment these two things: 1) There was

AKA: the ‘Stache Bash

This is a continuation of the last two posts. After the Red Bull girls showing up, and after my killer Grad party, I threw myself an after party—mustache style. That’s right, I’m talking about a full fledged ‘stache bash.
It was tight. Men, women, and children all showed up sporting hearty staches. And by “hearty” I

The party was off the chain.

That’s slang for really awesome. I haven’t imported any pictures yet, but I will soon. When I do I’ll be sure to post them as an update on this post. Like I said, the Grad’ Party was slamming, we had quite a few people and a bunch of food [2 main ingredients for a good time]. We pretty

As some of you may know I had a grad party last night as well as an after party. It was pretty legit, too legit to quit, too legit for ProjectNemeth. ”What?!?” you might be thinking, “does this mean he can’t post awesome mustache footage?”. Answer: No. It just means that I’m going to break it up into 3 posts, “Pre Party”, “Party”, and “After Party”.
This begins the “Pre Party” article.

G-Sale-ing is garage sailing for those of you that didn’t know.
I went with Lauren C., Cameron C., and Jenni H. We left about 10 and apparently that’s a little too late for the more veteran sailers. All the good stuff had already been purchased, but that didn’t get me down because after we stopped at some yard/garage sales we went on a picnic.
We were originally going to go to KFC for food for our picnic but it turns out

I think I’ve written about having a migraine before.
[No Image]
During about 3rd period I started seeing “spots” [the little colored dots you see if you stare at the sun]. It bothered me sum but I just ignored it until they gave me a headache. By then it was 4th period and my teacher [Mrs. Webb] was cool about it and let me take a nap under my desk. When the bell rang I woke up and stumbled

Today I had to take a test to determine how physically fit I was.

My friend Andrew and I both dressed up for it. BTW: I didn’t need a test to tell me I was out of shape. Anyways, here were my results:
Name: Andrew Nemeth
Height: 5’11″ [I think I'm 6']
Weight: 172.7lbs.
Pacers: 31

Can’t blog now, I’m super busy.

As you can see from the image, I didn’t get a chance to blog earlier today because I spent all evening working on my Calculus project. I had to create a 3D graph (using squares) of y=cosX on the closed interval [-pi/2, pi/2]. It was difficult, but I think I managed.
That’s all for today, but check back tomorrow. I

Build your own bowl.

I know I did. A couple of Wednesdays ago a group of us were talking about restaurants that we really liked. T said that he liked Genghis Grill a bunch, and I told him I had never been to one before. He felt that I was being deprived and so we made it happen today after church. Adam W., Robert J., Courtney C.,

I wanted to even out my tan.

We were burning some brush at my house today and I was elected to watch the fire. I figured that while I stood there I should try to even out my farmer’s tan.
After about 3 hours in the sun I got really burnt. And I was sitting in a chair with a funny pattern on the back. It left

I didn’t actually have to roll up my sleeves.
I had just gotten out of the shower and hadn’t yet put on a shirt when I decided to brush my teeth. Now, before I get too far into my story let me stop and say that my sink has had some draining problems for about a month now. I’ve told my dad in hopes that he would take care of it, but he didn’t, and as

This morning I sent out a Twitter message advising that people not be influenced by commercialism.
The thought was sparked by something I’m learning in English class. We are reading White Noise [not the movie], its a satirical commentary on mass culture and the numbing effects of technology. Its pretty good. One of the main themes is not being manipulated by commercialism. Mr. Garrett had a funny story to go along with the
The sound of the lights humming was deafening.
I looked around at the other students as they scribbled feverishly. I had 3 lines down, but I felt like I was headed in a good direction.
The sound of the lights humming was deafening.
No one was allowed to speak. Not a sound. A pen clicked as it retracted.
The sound of the lights humming was deafening.
Moments passed. It was too quiet to tell how long it had been. I finished and

I’m staring at the blank white box where I’m supposed to type today’s blog entry.
Up until a moment ago I still don’t know what I’m going to write about.
I’ve got an AP test tomorrow. Art History. That won’t be fun. Afterwards is church, that will be refreshing. And after that I’ll go play tennis until the wee-morning hours.
I’ve really come to enjoy tennis. My goal over the summer is

In high school students are encouraged to explore higher level education.

Last week I was talking with Jenni and Lauren C. and we realized we needed to take one more college day before we graduated, so we made plans to go to Texas Christian University (TCU). I ran it by my school and my parents and got everything approved. I even called

On this special day, Project Nemeth would like to take a moment to appreciate all the wonderful mothers. There are many different types of mothers, or ‘moms’ as they’ve come to be called. There are the soccer moms, the class moms (or school moms), the cooking moms, the working moms, the eyes-in-the-back-of-her-head moms, the NASCAR moms, the southern moms, the big-family
“If we haven’t used it in the past week then we obviously don’t need it.”

Or, at least that’s what it felt like as I drove through the Woodcreek subdivision in Fate. Every other house had a garage sale going on. It appeared as a strange phenomenon. There were 12 garage sales on a single block. No joke. I couldn’t understand what was going on.

I’ve come to realize that not enough people understand the full functionality of RSS feeds. I know I didn’t for the longest time. But now I do, and I don’t know what the internet did before it. Allow me to explain.
Viewing blogs and regularly updated sites on the internet used to be like going to walmart. You’d have to drive there and then do you shopping [type in the url and find the articles you

It was during “break”

We had been testing for over two hours [AP Literature], and I needed to go to the bathroom. I walked down the hallway, made a left, then turned left into the first door. Then an immediate right [see the image above]. I walked up to one of the urinals and proceeded to take care of business. I was standing there when I heard

My brain is mush.
Today, by 7:45am I had to report to the lecture hall of my school. It was there that I stayed [actually the room one floor above] for almost 5 hours. I took one of the hardest tests in my young adult life. You might think I’m exaggerating, but I’m not, I assure you I’m not.
No, I’m pretty confident I got a 2 on it. I’ve reasoned with my self and come to the

Today I was at work when I got a call from my dad.

He said that he was down in the shop and that he needed me to run down. I reminded him that I was at work. He explained that it was an emergency and that he was staring at a huge snake and that he needed me to watch it while he

I lead a relatively sedentary life-style.

I sit at school for 5 hours a day, then go to work where I sit behind a desk, then when I get home I dabble on my computer. All of those activities involve nothing more than wrist movement and sitting down.
Today, however, I broke out of my out-of-shape shell and played a couple games of tennis today. I had a riot.

Last night was Boles’ Prom.
![Prom [Boles] Prom [Boles]](http://projectnemeth.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/dscn7812-224x300.jpg)
It was tight. I met up with my group [Lauren C. (my date), Jenni H., Adam S., Anna H., and Colin T.] at Lauren’s house. We took a bunch of pictures there and did the “prom pose”. From there we went to the actual prom. Prom was unique, partly because it was in Quinlan. Partly because it was put

I went to the post office today to drop off 4,600+ letters.

As I was standing in line waiting to be helped I heard 3 shrill horn honks. I turned around to look out the window and saw a man whip his ford focus into a parking spot, then jump out leaving the car on and the door open [I assume he at least took the

This morning when I woke up I thought I’d spice up my outfit today. So I did.

I put on my Dockers and this shirt-sleeve button down. Emily said my belt didn’t “go” so to make up for it I put on these sunglasses. The aviators really have a way of accentuating my mustache.
When I got to work my boss [Mrs. Lovie] said I looked
