Would you like some cake, sir?
Today I was sitting at lunch, I had just finished all my food and so I was listening to the conversation when a fellow student walked up to me and offered me a piece of cake saying something to the effect of, “Would you like a piece of cake, sir?”
Now, I’ll interject here for a moment these two things: 1) There was a table set up today full of deserts, he was one of the students sitting at the table. That should answer your initial question of, “Where did the cake come from?”. And 2) Like I’ve mentioned before, its not polite to refuse food that people offer you, regardless of what your parents warn you about strangers giving you candy/food.
To get back to the story: The student even went as far as to offer me whipped topping on my cake. Unfortunately when I accepted his offer the can happened to be almost empty. He apologized for giving me false hope in an empty aerosol can [not in those terms] and then returned to his table. I was left for a brief moment to ponder whether or not to eat the cake so inexplicably given to me. The moment quickly passed and I partook. It was cherry cake.
I was the only one at my table to be offered a desert. I was the only boy at my table. I’m also the only person at Rockwall High with a mustache. I think it was the latter that earned me a free piece of cake, but you be the judge.

i don’t think it was the mustache at all…in fact i think this free piece of decadence was offered to you because a certain someone took notice of your radiating beauty

it had to be the stache. even i’ve noticed a higher respect that comes with free dessert ever since i’ve grown mine.
