Hoy es Cinco De Mayo
En la escuela hicieron que una venda del mariachi viniera adentro y se realizara durante los almuerzos.
Translation:
Today is May 5th.
At school they had a mariachi band come and perform during the lunches.
They were really good. I was sort of caught off guard by them because I had just got my chicken sandwich and curly fries, and I was walking towards the ketchup dispenser when one of the band members yelled, “Ariba!” and the music fiesta began. An after thought is that the cafeteria should have been serving more Mexican food rather than American.

It’s spelled “arriba”, ’cause you have to roll those R’s.
