Gone Postal

I went to the post office today to drop off 4,600+ letters.

Postal

As I was standing in line waiting to be helped I heard 3 shrill horn honks.  I turned around to look out the window and saw a man whip his ford focus into a parking spot, then jump out leaving the car on and the door open [I assume he at least took the time to put it in park because the car didn't move].  Then he took off running and screaming at a white SUV.  The driver of the SUV either didn’t notice the eccentric man flailing his arms in pursuit of his vehicle, or he just simply ignored him; regardless the driver pulled away.

This however did not discourage the running man.  He darted across the parking lot and through the neighboring business’ front lawns.  About 15 seconds later I saw him come running back.  He jumped in his car and peeled out as he took off after the SUV.

I have no idea what happened.  My first thought was “hit and run” but neither car looked to be damaged.  Then I thought, “maybe it was someone he knows”, but it seems like it would be more rational for a 40+ year old wearing khakis and a polo to just call someone that he recognized.  I didn’t have a third thought other than wishing I could have snapped a sweet pic so you guys could better visualize it.  No worries though, I got this one off of Flickr.com

I wish I knew what was going through that guys mind,
Andrew Nemeth

P.S.  The letters were for my work, God Loves Kids.
