I think I’ve written about having a migraine before.

During about 3rd period I started seeing “spots” [the little colored dots you see if you stare at the sun].  It bothered me sum but I just ignored it until they gave me a headache.  By then it was 4th period and my teacher [Mrs. Webb] was cool about it and let me take a nap under my desk.  When the bell rang I woke up and stumbled up stairs to my 5th period class.  I was talking to one of my classmates about how my head hurt and Steinmiller overheard me and noticed that I was looking pale.  He wrote me a pass to the nurse.  I was hoping they’d be able to help but to my dismay they were useless, and told me that it “didn’t seem fair that I had a mustache and other kids weren’t allowed to have facial hair”.  She’s just lucky she said that while I had a thermometer in my moth because later when I was lying down I thought of a great response, “Don’t talk to me about fair when there are kids here getting brand new Mustangs and BMWs for their sweet 16 while I get to borrow my dad’s ’96 Toyota pick up.”

I was a little irritated by that thoughtless comment.  Anyways, 20 min. after I laid down she told me I had to go back to class.  I was still unappreciative but obediently wondered back upstairs.  Stein thought I looked sick [which I was, my head was killing me] and so I didn’t go into work.  I just went home and slept off my migraine. 

I’m feeling better now,
