As some of you may know I had a grad party last night as well as an after party. It was pretty legit, too legit to quit, too legit for ProjectNemeth. ”What?!?” you might be thinking, “does this mean he can’t post awesome mustache footage?”. Answer: No. It just means that I’m going to break it up into 3 posts, “Pre Party”, “Party”, and “After Party”.
This begins the “Pre Party” article.
Any time we have a gathering at my house my mom finds it necessary to clean the house, and the bigger the party the cleaner the house must be. I was having a 2in1 grad/stache party/bash and therefore the house must be perfect. In order to achieve perfection my mom issued orders [to my dad and I] to reside our patio, repaint the shudders, and remodel my sister’s bathroom. I didn’t think any of this was necessary, but there is no arguing with my mom.
I had to spend like a billion [hyperbole] hours working on the patio. It was tough and we didn’t get it finished until like 2 hours before my party ‘kicked-off’. I was a little annoyed that I had to work so much on the day of my celebration, but you know how that goes.
That was the down side to my pre-party. The upside was that Juddson and I were parking some of our cars over at the church across the street [in an attempt to open up more space in our drive for other people] and as we were coming back we saw this blue mini cooper with a red bull can on top of it pull into my drive.
Juddson was like, “Block ‘em in and maybe we can get some drinks”. I thought they were just turing around but they stopped right in front of the house and I pulled up behind them. We all got out, each of us looking a little perplexed. One of the ‘Red Bull Girls’ asked if this was my house. I said it was. They asked if I was having a party tonight. I hesitantly said it was. The girls explained that they wanted to give me some Red Bulls. They walked around to their trunk and started filling up a backpack. They finished and turned to me and asked, “Where can we put these?”. I invited them inside to put them in a cooler and asked, “Who sent you guys?”. They explained that they found out about my party on Myspace.
I didn’t know what to say or do. I couldn’t really believe what was going on, it felt sort of surreal. They filled up my cooler and then went back to their car and told me they had something for me. They handed me a canister with two (2) red bulls and a diploma and told me “Congratulations”. I said “Thanks” and then as they started to pull away a couple of my friends showed up and ran to see what the Red Bull car was doing in my driveway.
To the “Wings Team”: Thanks for stopping by yesterday. Everyone loved the Red Bulls. I’ll myspace you guys next party I have.

so so so cool!
and such good marketing – getting a room full of high school grads started on their red bull addiction before they head off to college.
