multislacking

Multislacking can be defined as “Doing multiple slacker-esque things concurrently”

When used in a sentence it looks something like this:

“I’m the king of multislacking. I spend hours a day surfing the ‘net, watching random TV shows, and eating week-old pizza.”
This isn’t a quote from me, but rather UrbanDictionary.com [some content may not be suitable for children under 13].   Just saying.
I stumbled upon this word the other day when I needed a word to diagnose my chronic case of “too-much-nothing”.  To better explain I’ll illustrate for you.  It was about 10:30pm and I needed to get some web design work done and out of the way.  I even went through the trouble of hooking up my second monitor so that I could be twice as productive.  But instead of buckling down and knocking out the project I logged into Facebook and Myspace, checked my RSS feeds, pulled up some new music, and opened a couple of tabs to browse Jetta accessories.  Granted, I did have the HTML code pulled up, but it was behind everything else and I no longer had intensions of getting to it because I was too busy with ‘time-wasting‘ junk.
