Unfortunately I can’t take credit [or blame] for the following.  It was sent to me in an email and I laughed hysterically when I read it.  I hope ya’ll enjoy it.

THE MAN RULES

PLEASE NOTE..
THESE ARE ALL NUMBERED ’1′ ON PURPOSE!

1. MEN ARE NOT MIND READERS.

1. LEARN TO WORK THE TOILET SEAT. YOU’RE A BIG GIRL. IF IT’S UP, PUT IT DOWN. WE NEED IT UP, YOU NEED IT DOWN. YOU DON’T HEAR US COMPLAINING ABOUT YOU

After work today I went out to Rowlett for dinner with some friends. After eating a delicious pasta dinner we turned on the television and laughed hysterically at Wipeout (the new hit show where contestants compete on a water course for $50K). It was fun watching people fall and act goofy.

Unfortunatley when that show ended America’s Got Talent came on next and it was sort of boring.

This evening after work I swung by chick-fil-a to pick up my dinner. I ate a chicken sandwhich, it was really good, especially when I dipped it in Polynesian sauce. From there I headed out to Rowlett to meet my friend Rachel at Lakeside car wash. We got the basic car wash which sent our cars out looking legit.

From there we swung into Target because Rachel needed

I received a comment today on PN regarding last month’s post entitiled “Weekend Rap*-UP”.  My original intentions with the post were for it to become a weekly segment where I rapped a summary of my weekend.  Unfortunately I forgot all about it before the next weekend rolled around.  But now, thanks to the lovely comment, I feel re-inspired and will now rap-up my weekend:

SL = Student Leader.  A student leader is a volunteer leadership position for students at Paradigm.  I am/was a student leader.

We woke up this morning around 9am for breakfast.  Last night some of us were up to 3am playing capture the flag.  It was intense, but we were dog tired this morning [or at least I was].  After breakfast we ran out to the

Today at 5 the Paradigm student leaders loaded into some cars and headed for the Smith’s lake house. We’re having a weekend retreat thing of sorts.

At the moment (because I’m blogging from my phone) we are seated around a small fire about to have a worship session. It’s really nice out here and super nice of the Smiths to let us use their home.

Tonight should be fun

Wake Up Call

Last night I sent my alarm for 9:00am (I wanted to sleep in a little bit). But Unfortunatley at 7:30am I woke up to the sound of beeping and buzzing. I tried to ignore it but finally I had to get up. I realized that it was the 3 battery back ups that were beeping and buzzing. Why were they all up in arms?(you might ask) it was because the power was out. I still

Today is Wednesday (technically since it’s 1:15am it’s Thursday, but let’s not get caught up on technicalities). This evening was youth (paradigm) and the service was good. Pstr. Nick was sick so L-Train brought the word. He did good, it started off a little bumpy but he leveled it out and ended up saying some really good stuff.

Afterwards a small group of us headed to Ruby Tuesday. It was 9:52 when we showed up

Yesterday, 2:24pm I arrived to my doctor’s office 4 min late. What’s worse is I forgot the physical form that CFNI requires for admission. I spoke to the ladies at the front and explained I’d be right back. They were cool with it, so I sped home and grabbed the form and sped back. I rolled in and exchanged the CFNI form for 5 pages of paperwork that I needed to fill out.

I got a call from Nathan and a text from Alan telling me to swing by Alan’s house for some excitement*

That’s not exactly how it happened, but its more or less the jest of it.  What was going on was they wanted to start a testosterone based club where guys can duke it out for sport.  I went down there and met up a bunch of friends.  It turned out to be a pretty big thing.  There were two

I was pulled over by the sheriff on my way home from a gay bar.

Its not what you think.  I just phrase it like that for the shock value.  Here is what really happened:

Saturday evening I met up with Jenni and Lauren to go out to dinner to Uncle Julio’s Fine Mexican… I relied on my iphone to get us there, but unfortunately one of the locations was actually a sushi and Asian food restaurant, not Uncle Julio’s.  We then resorted to

I survived.

This morning we packed everything up and after the morning’s final
session we loaded up the bus and headed for home.

About 3 hours into the trek one boy got sick and puked. I helped Mr.
Mitchel clean the boy and floor up. After everything was sanatized
with wet wipes I sat with the boy and held his garbage bag as be puked
twice more.

The bus ride also became very warm when we got stopped in rush hour
traffic on

I’m blogging from the pool side. Sitting on a bench in the shade
because the sun is too hot.

It’s the 4th day at Dry Gulch children’s camp and as I watch the
children swim I notice one little boy with peculiar swim attire. He’s
wearing normal boardshorts, but underneath he also has his blue jean
shorts and whitie-tighties. I only know this because each layer began
to sag with the weight of the water. It’s impractical to put swimming
trunks on

Today was day 3 and I’m exhausted. It’s funny because I didn’t really
do any work. I went to the basketball courts with the girls and ended
up drawing with sidewalk chalk. Then after lunch I went to the pool
with the kids. They love that because they jump all over myself, Joel,
and Mitchel and in turn we throw them off of us. So, that’s why my
muscles and body is tired, but mentally I’m feeling rested because

Today Mitchel, Joel, and I hung out with the boys in bunks 27 & 28.
They had mostly water activities so we went with them to get wet.
Before that however, we raced the go-karts. Then after lunch we went
tubing at the lake. We broke for snack time and following that we went
down water slides.

The evening concluded with service and some “night activities” [girls
went on a train ride (where we soaked them) and guys went to

fact that I’m travelling a bit.

First off, oh my gosh! I had no idea kids camp was this great. It’s
even better as a sponsor then it was as a kid. Further more I think
there is a bit of a conspiracy between the sponsor parents and other
parents, because

decided to knock out some chores and then take the rest of the day off
and hang with some friends. We watched Vantage Point, then went to the
harbor and watched Hancock, now we are watching 27 dresses.

I’ll try to post from OK. Pictures will be posted via Twitter (http://Twitter.com/Nemeth

The week long camp was a success.  The food was sub-par but I think more people go for the spiritual atmosphere then the cafeteria food.  So its forgivable.  China won.  For those of you that have never been I’ll explain:  Upon arrival, campers are split into 12 “nations” [teams] and they compete during the afternoon in different games to create a spirit of camaraderie.  The nation/team that

On the 7th day, after I had already sent out the day’s email, I wrestled Bailey to the ground.  I felt really good afterwards.  Some of you may recognize that as “out-of-character” for me, but Bailey had been less-than-helpful for the latter part of the week and it was creating more work for me [very uncool].

Today the booth opened to the public. We generated a lot of excitement
by pasting over 500 posters advertising our booth. We also went around

had some pretty solid traffic for not being mentioned in the official
