Today at 5 the Paradigm student leaders loaded into some cars and headed for the Smith’s lake house. We’re having a weekend retreat thing of sorts.
At the moment (because I’m blogging from my phone) we are seated around a small fire about to have a worship session. It’s really nice out here and super nice of the Smiths to let us use their home.
Tonight should be fun and relaxing. My hand is still swollen so I probably won’t go tubing tomorrow. Just saying.
Also, me and some of the student leaders pulled off the best prank ever: The leaders had made a schedule that didn’t sound very fun, so me and some of the others took matters into our own hands and created a brand new schedule. We scanned the original and photoshopped in our changes. Then I made some copies and Trish helped me pass them out. Then we got all the other SL’s in on it and the leaders were so confused why they didn’t remember writing certain things. Pstr. Nick finally found out and had a great laugh teasing Pstr. Tim about it. The whole ordeal was priceless!
