SL = Student Leader. A student leader is a volunteer leadership position for students at Paradigm. I am/was a student leader.
We woke up this morning around 9am for breakfast. Last night some of us were up to 3am playing capture the flag. It was intense, but we were dog tired this morning [or at least I was]. After breakfast we ran out to the lake and the festivities began. There was boating, tubing, wake boarding, jet skis [AKA: wave runners], and even an Air Chair.
I didn’t do much because of my hand. But I did ride behind J. Newman as we ripped through some waves. Now my legs are pretty sore from having to half stand-half squat while I was on the back of the wave runner. We hit one wave [after developing a sick rhythm on the waves] that sent us flying through the air.
We had lunch and sang “Happy B-Day” to Pstr. Nick. Afterwards we went back out on the lake for a little while. We came in around 4 to help pack up and clean up. We pulled back into the church around 6:45pm.
A good time was had by all.
