cohorts, driving, hurricane harbor, lawn gnome, park, Weekend Rap Up
This is a weekly series called “Weekend Rap-Up”. Its especially funny because its a pun [rap-wrap] and because its me rapping.
“Friday after wark [slang/urban term for work],
I went to ‘da park,
Hung out with some friends,
While we ate watermelon ends,
Went to a city that is little,
To say goodbye to Adam and Danielle Riddle,
I saw the Headley’s,
And some friendlies,
Saturday came and went,
The majority of it was spent,
At Hurricane Harbor,
Finding a parking spot was harder,
Then I thought it would be,
I really needed to pee,
That evening I ate ice cream,
And laid my head down to dream,
This morning at church,
I sat on my perch [seat],
Went to Alan’s for a meal,
His mother cooks a great deal,
Back to my house for a movie,
Enjoyed an ice-cream smoothie,
Juddson bought me a pair of board shorts,
We are cohorts,
Held a media meeting,
Did some cool filming,
Chilled at Starbucks,
Then went to Which Which to spend some bucks,
Arrived back at my home,
I’d like a lawn gnome.”
Thank you, and good night.

P.S. ”Just because I’m sitting in the driver’s seat doesn’t mean I’m always going to drive.”
I love your weekend raps. That is all.
