Lecture and Afterwards

[Watch this video]

Cameron and J. Rush started this thing where they want to–each day–record at least 20 seconds of video during lecture.  Cameron wasn’t there during lecture on this particular day and therefore I presented myself as a temporary stand in/reoccurring guest.  We finished the above video and about 5 minutes later the power went out.  It was pretty random because there wasn’t any storm or anything.  The lights and sound all came back within a couple of minutes, but we had a fun time hollering while they were out.

Afterwards, Taylor P. and I were going to go into Rockwall to work at the Love The Unloved’s offices.  On our way in we decided to stop off at 635 and Skillman at this awesome little Thai Buffet place and grab lunch [something we had been planning for a couple of days].  Unfortunately, as we pulled in we noticed that the lights were all off and there weren’t any cars in the parking lot.  We approached the building and after noticing the “I’m sorry we’re closed” sign displayed during their normal business hours we began to wonder what was going on.  Until, that is, that we saw this piece of paper:

It says that the tenant failed to pay one or more months rent, and further went on to say that the locks were changed and that the tenant could pick up the key after repaying the late rental payments.  We were disappointed to say the least.  But still being hungry and in the mood for Thai we found a place in North Garland/North East Dallas called Tukta Thai.  It was ok.  Nothing special about the food, the people though were a different story.  The table beside us had two gentleman seated who went on about an array of topics, some of which were completely off the wall.

It was fun though,
