I forgot to write a weekend rap up last week. My sincerest apologies. I’ll begin:
“Friday afternoon I drove out east,
Met with my parents and had a feast,
Continued working and got done fast,
Doing the mailing was such a blast,
Late to bed and early to rise,
A portion of my hair met it’s demise,
Clocked in at work at 10:05,
Worked until I no longer felt alive,
That night I hung out with Taylor Harrison,
We shared a tale that could have been embarisin’,
In a neighborhood’s quiet street,
Is a great place to sit and eat,
Target had a sale on The Office DVD,
I bought and watched it till 1:33,
The next morning fell on a Sunday,
My church did something special since it was rally day,
I met some people at the Asian buffet,
I ate so much I thought I was going to die,
Went back to my house to sit and lie,
We watched deleted scenes from the office DVD,
It was super duper funny,
Then changed my car’s oil filter,
I needed the help of a weight lifter,
Fit in a match of tennis with my peer,
Before heading uptown to volunteer,
