After work yesterday Juddson, Brett, Bri, and myself went to Chick-Fil-A for dinner.
As we walked from the car to the restaurant some comments were made regarding the wonderful weather conditions. When we got inside and began to order Juddson suggested that we get the food to go and eat it at a park or something. So we did. But as we were leaving we realized there
This is a weekly segment I like to call “Weekend Rap-Up”. Its a pun because its a “wrap up” of my weekend that I turn into a rap.
“It felt like the weekend started on Thursday,
We met at Taylor’s and started to par-tay,
It was her B-Day and she wanted to see a movie,
Midnight showing of High School Musical 3,
The next day she had another
Saturday Night was the Fall Scary Awesome Bash hosted by Cameron C. and J. Rush. Cliff was kind enough to let them through the party at his apartment [so big shout-out to him]. Also, this picture looks really hazy because there was a smoke machine there.
Trish Key and I dressed up as Juno and Paulie Bleaker. We won 2nd place in the costume competition.
Last night I was in the middle of writing a post and when it refreshed the page in order to auto-save my wonderful blog entry, I was greeted not with the warm UI of WordPress but rather with a cold stern warning:
“This Account has been Suspended”
I was puzzled, so I followed the instructions and called my web host. They were kind enough to let me know that by backing up my personal computer to the “public_html” folder
I’m not a bad person I promise, but last night was the second time in two days that someone called the police regarding me or the group I was with.
Anthony M. and Taylor H. lead a small group at my house. It consists of mostly high schoolers of driving age. When I arrived home last night there was still a number of people there, and consequently a number of cars in the drive. I
Last night [Friday, the 24th] was Taylor H.’s BDay party. We went to Nandina’s off of Greenville Ave and had some delicious sushi. She opened her gifts and we sang “Sweet Dreams” [by the Eurythmics]. Surprisingly I don’t recall us ever singing “Happy Birthday”.
I made a mix-tape [CD] for the occasion and on our way to the restaurant myself, Taylor
After Paradigm last night a small group of us went to dinner at On The Border. Rachel Chapmen was in town and it was Taylor H.’s birthday eve. Each event would have been enough reason to celebrate with chips and salsa, but when you combine the too there is nothing to do but celebrate.
The waitress who served us was a nice lady, I didn’t get
I mean Split Pea Soup. My mistake. But not really, the soup was disgusting. Fortunately the To-furky pot pie was delicious. Also, as you can see I decided that since the soup wasn’t good enough to eat I would be able to raise it from useless to worthless status if I used it as a sort of paint/other art supply.
However, in a moment of
I don’t remember things too well. I take that back, I don’t remember some things too well. I have a very selective memory and I don’t always control what it does and does not remember. So to augment [Real Christianity vocab word] my weakness I use Mac OS X’s dashboard and the help of “stickies” [because "post-its" is copyrighted] to remember things.
The only problem is,
At One Voice they had a huge swing. Nothing like an average swing. No, this has harnesses and partners and pulleys and most of all… a pit of death.
Betcha wish you could have gone. It’s alright, I think we are going back in the spring (I’m excited). As you can see pictures above London S. and Adam W. were photographed right before going on the
This part 2 of a 3 part miniseries entitled “One Voice”. One voice is a retreat for Paradigm students with guest speaker Adam Mccain and guest worship leader Matt Duhon.
Both were incredible, and better than I expected. Other than the great learning sessions and intimate times of worship (which I was unable to capture on camera) one of the high point of the trip was tetherball.

UPDATE 10/21/08:
I received this video from some friends for my birthday. I thought you all might enjoy it:
Thanks for all the txt’s and wall writings (facebook) I haven’t gotten on MySpace this weekend but I’ll assume I have something there and say thanks for that too.
I had a great birthday.
UPDATE: Lance scored like 15 free cookies by using his suave wit.
I left immidiatley following school with Aaron Money to go with some other guys to set up early for Paradigm’s fall retreat, One Voice. We got there and set up was ok, we were a little late and we felt under equipped but we pulled together to pull it off.
As I type away
As some of you may have heard, Project Nemeth got hacked the other day.
The incident was reported to me by a faithful reader who noticed a sudden and uncharacteristic home page change. She called in the malicious act to the proper authorities [me]. In a matter of minutes I had everything back to normal. Partially due to the fact that I’m a “Wizard” and partially due to
At work [BG Development] I use my own equipment. I don’t have a mouse pad because I only recently bought a mouse. It didn’t work too well on laminate desk top surface, so instead of buying a mouse pad I decided to get creative and make one.
As you can see pictured I took a stack of letter sized paper and drew a large rectangle on
Julie and Brad Harrison play on an adult coed volleyball team. Their team doesn’t get many spectators so Zach, Jill, and I thought we’d drive in to root them on and watch them win.
When we arrived the first game had just finished [which the Harrison's had line judged for] we were directed to the bleachers to watch would become one of the most inspirational games of our
Weekend Rap-Up
Friday was Fall Break,
Staying out late was a mistake,
It made it difficult to become awake,
I went into work at 9,
I needed to sleep for more time,
Everything at the office was fine,
I went from one job to the other,
But stopped to say hi to my mother,
Ate dinner at home,
so I wouldn’t have to eat alone,
I worked an eleven hour day,
I can’t wait to
I enjoy spending sunny Sunday afternoons at a park with some of my dearest friends.
Today, after a hearty lunch, I met up with Juddson and then we went over to Rowlett to hang out with Jill and Taylor at a neighborhood park in the area. We had a grand ol’ time.
At the park there was a log-running contraption, and a sliding thinger, as
At work [God Loves Kids] there is a kitchen with a fridge where people can store their lunches/dinners and what have you. Attached to the front of the fridge is a memo that states that every Friday the fridge will be gone through and stuff that isn’t dated will be thrown out. Also, it says something about putting your name on your items. Anyways,
“I think I just put someone on hold” I said nervously to Richard [my new boss].
He laughed and then became business like and said, “Who is it?”
“I don’t know.”
“Who did they ask for?”
“I think they said Danny? But I don’t think anyone here goes by Danny.”
“…Ok”
I went back to my desk/workstation. What had happened was Kristen [HR/Receptionist/Accountant] had already left for the day, all
This morning I had a bit of an episode. I took the elevator down to the first floor and then exited out the back so I could drive my car over to the IB instead of walking. I usually do this so I can leave Immediatley after lunch, and I don’t have to waste time walking back to the GLT.
As I walked into the G
TNE stands for Tuesday Night Experience.
My evening started at the conclusion of my work day. It was approximately 6:27 as I raced down the four levels of the parking garage [tires squealing all the way]. I made it to CFNI campus around 6:45. TNE would start at precisely at 7pm and if I was a moment late it would cost me 10 points. I figured I didn’t
Hey,
I turn 19 on the 18th.
I’m gonna have a ballin’ party, I just don’t know when [or where].

P.S. That’s a picture of me sitting at my desk at my new office in Mockingbird Station.
Weekend Rap Up. As my weekend draws to a close I can’t help but to sum it up in this doggerel. Here goes:
“-Friday,
Shoulda’ been my day,
But I had to go to school,
I felt like a fool,
Sitting near a tool,
Juddson got a tat,
Immagine that,
Right on his chest,
He looked his best,
Went to work at the station,
Without a moment of hesitation,
Or fear of irritation,
My boss thinks I could
I am now an employee of BG Development.
I have chosen to maintain employment status at God Loves Kids/Love The Unloved.
I enjoy what I do at God Loves Kid, and I love helping all those African orphans, but I also have more bills to pay now then I did a year ago [College tuition & Car Payment] so I needed to get an additional job that payed a little bit better [almost double].
I’ll update with a
At LakeShore church on September 27, 2008 at approximately 1pm a wedding ceremony began for Adam Harris and Nicole Mosser (now Harris). It was very elegant and beautiful. It had been my second wedding in a week and I’ll tell you I wouldn’t mind going to more. I think weddings are nice, the merriment, the friends and family, the food, and especially the dancing.

Last Saturday Juddson and I had to kill some time while we waited for some friends to finish with a previous engagement. What better place to kill time then at Starbucks? While there we ran into Brett and Bri Morris. After a good while and a couple drinks we felt it was time to grab a bite to eat. Wanting to stay local, within
Pre Service:
I left my MacBook out in the foyer so some people could play around with PhotoBooth. Not to my surprise, when I came back I had all these “wonderful” photos [and 2 video clips].

Saturday night a group of us [Juddson, Zach, Julia, Rachel, Jessica, Jordan, and myself] gathered at Rachel’s house to hang out. We started out watching a video from their [Rachel and Jessica's] high school show choir… but that ended soon after.
We then turned our attention to different games available to us. We decided on Jenga. It turned out to be much more enjoyable then the
