Tonight the Poetry Pioneers tried to stake claim in Addison as they faced the Fairhill Falcons. It was a clash of the titans as these two fierce competitors stood toe to toe. Tentions were high as the basket ball game got underway.
A large crowd showed to cheer on the visiting Pioneers, but their cheers and shouts weren’t enough to push the underdog on to victory. Settling for a close 34-22 loss the Pioneers played a good game.
The Falcons however, upon seeing Poetry’s talent, felt that the only way they would secure a win would be through rough and foul play. Even the home team spectators felt threatened—so much so that they displayed “unsportsman like qualities” by jeering injured players as they took their foul shots.
The home team set a bad name for themselves to all who visited. One visiting spectator had this to say:
“I can’t believe those ‘Falcons’ could be so rude and unsportsman like” -Andrew Nemeth
The Pioneers especially felt victimized. Star internationall player Hiroki gave a special interview to Project Nemeth in which he said:
The Poetry Pioneers face off again this Thursday, so come on out and root on our hometown heroes as they defend their title against their next apponent.

good blog my friend. i especially agreed with hiro’s comments. the fans were most def in need of a muscel relaxer or two. and number three probly just needs a good laxative. he was really cranky. well i thoroughly enjoyed the blog of the day and i will see you the day after tonight.

Hiro always has the best things to say. You spelled “tensions” wrong.

those cheerleaders were quite out of line. i am glad we took the high road and did not beat up 13yr. old girls but they should be put in their place.

I think interviews with our foreign friends should be a regular happening. Look at all the positive response you’ve gotten from Hiroki!
