This morning Emily came into my room as I was waking up. We were talking and catching up, since I hadn’t seen her in a couple days. As we were doing so Gracie, my sister’s cat, walked into my room and began to pee on some clothes that were on the floor near my dresser.
Emily saw what was going on and stopped Gracie by jumping towards her and shouting something. Gracie scurried out leaving a yellow wet spot behind. Emily was satisfied with stopping the “hate crime”, but I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t happen again. [Gracie has peed over a dozen times in my room alone. I don't know why we haven't gotten rid of her. Anyone want a cat?]
I got up [in my p.j.'s] and walked to the hallway. From there I could see Gracie standing at the threshold to the living room with her smug look of defiance. I bolted toward her intent on teaching her a lesson. She ran around the chair and doubled back into the kitchen, but I was hot on her tail. Around the kitchen table we ran, which startled my mom.
“What are you doing?” She yelped with a start.
I didn’t say anything, focusing all of my energy on to catching the perp that vandalized my bedroom. Back through the living room and again to the kitchen. [Fortunately I've been playing football on Sundays and so I was more than conditioned to run. Gracie wasn't expecting me to be so light on my feet].
She thought she would be safe under the kitchen table/chairs. But she wasn’t. I lurched from behind her and grabber her by the nap of her neck and hoisted her away to my room. I rubbed her face in the moist urine exclaiming, “Don’t pee in my room! Don’t pee on my carpet! Don’t pee on my clothes!”
My mom came in and swatted her with a fly-swatter [Gracie hates the fly-swatter]. When we felt like she wouldn’t do it again we let her go. She whimpered away but I had no pity. With a heart as cold as last night’s football game I shouted, “Get out cat!”.

Amusing story, I’m not sure what correlation the picture has to it though.

@bri That’s a picture of my kitchen. And the kitchen table that I chased the cat around.

That’s why everyone should keep their pets outside. Animals are smelly, devious, and shed fur.

@nemeth Right, but the cat isn’t in the picture. That’s why I was wondering of the relevance.

all gracie wants from you is love andrew. that is why she pees on all your belongings. she is a rebellious teen in desperate need of attention and boundaries from you.
