Ugh, Let’s hit it.

“I’m about to drop a rhyme,

You’ll be thinkin’ ‘Is ’bout time,

I aint heard a word from that nerd,

Since about ’99′,

But I’m back up in this place,

About to show you all my face,

And what I did this here weekend,

Will have you all tellin’ your friend,

‘Boy, this dog is crazy’

 

Y’all see, Friday was pretty tight,

I drove to rockwall to spend the night,

Me and my pops went out for chinese,

After 2 plates I said, ‘No more please’,

Had heard that Stavely was playin’ a show,

So I think y’all know where I had to go,

It was up 75 to exit 3,

SMU was the place to be,

The show got over and I helped pack it up,

At 1:30 in the morn I couldn’t believe I’s still up,

I finally hit the hay when it was too late to say,

That I needed to get up—early the next day,

 

It seemed like Saturday came and went,

I worked so that the newsletter would get sent,

Brett and Bri were there with me,

We all worked a long time happily,

That evening I went home for supper,

I ate some chicken that tasted a bit like rubber,

 

Sunday morning I woke up with a jar,

My alarm reminded me to wash my car,

I rolled into church with my clean set of wheels,

And remembered to sign up for Angel Food meals,

Service was good, the guest was unique,

He had a slight sense of mystique,

After lunch I went to play some ball,

I’m glad I didn’t take a bad fall,

Small groups that nigh were really fun,

At 7:30 it felt like we’d just begun”
