Drop that beat.

“Friday was October 31st,

I’d say that as a holiday it is the worst,

People don’t give gifts, and say I’m too old for candy,

That’s why I don’t think its that dandy,

At my house trick-er-treaters weren’t seen,

Who really cares for halloween?,

Saturday I thought I’d go to work for an hour,

but I didn’t.

I got busy prepping for my shin-dig,

I wanted it to be really big,

I searched craigslist for a free couch,

Now all I can say is ouch,

I moved enough furniture to fill a small house,

Also, when I was mowing I saw a mouse,

A-town helped me with a bunch of stuff,

moving all that junk was pretty tough,

We had set up a screen in the back,

And watched Iron Man wit a snack,

The temperature was good for hot chocolate,

And the lights in the trees kept the area well lit,

The party that night was really tight,

It went late into the night,

Sunday morning I got to sleep an extra hour,

My dad made pancakes with white flour,

After church I had lunch with the fam,

We ate burgers that weren’t made with ham,

Took 2 couches back to the Vance home,

I’m glad I didn’t have to carry them alone,

I went up to Starbucks to loiter a while,

The drink cost as much as driving my car 40 mile,

A lot of Paradigm-ers were there,

Talk of small groups filled the air,

The groups that night met at 6,

I forget to take any pics,

The media group started work on a clip,

Pre-production was a trip,

Got home and needed to move a couch,

Tripped/fell in the garage–ouch,

Trish went with me back to campus,

The word of the week is apparatus,”
