This is a weekly segment called “Weekend Rap-Up”.  Its a lyrical summary of my week.  Its also a clever pun.

Now drop a beat!

“After work on Friday,
I went to see poetry play,
It was basket ball time,
In the south east where there’s lots of crime,
The drive made for a pretty long ride,
But worth it to see Reid drain to 3′s from outside,
That night was spent at Nate James,
The boys liked playing the wii games,
Nathan had invited over some guys including his bro,
And a foreign exchange student who goes by Hiro,
despite the double feature I couldn’t stay up late,
I had to be at work early so others wouldn’t have to wait,

I slept through one of my alarms,
And found myself driving quickly past the farms,
I picked up groceries and had a good day at work,
I hate banking hours-those guys are a jerk,
I went home for a bit to say hello,
Then up to starbucks for a hot cup of joe,
I had a paper for school that I needed to write,
My deadline for it was Monday night,
Some twitter friends met me there,
We went to walmart in the cold winter air,
Picked up a red box called “full ride”,
It was the cheesiest movie I’ve ever tried,
With me was London, Bri, and Brett,
I think that they all enjoyed it,

The next day was Sunday,
It was a very relaxing day,
In the shower there was a loufa,
I spent most my day on a sofa,”

Yeah!
