I had a crazy amount of homework that I needed to do today. And I finally got it done, with thanks to my friends.
I had almost 120 pages that needed to be read by Monday. I had started some Saturday night but didn’t get very far because some people came over. Finally I buckled down and got to work at starbucks after church this morning. I was there for about 1.5 hrs reading. It felt like forever but I had little to show for it, so I decided on a change of scenery.
I arrived at the church around 2 and found that J. Pen and Lauren were both eager to help me with my reading (by reading to me). I hope this isn’t unethical at all, I assume it’s no different then using an audio book. But then again, you know what assuming does.
Anyways, I didn’t get it done before small groups, so when I got home I had to excuse myself from the visiting friends and go into the hall to read for over 2 hrs.
I don’t know of I’m a slow reader or if that book is just really intense, but the asignment sure took a while.

P.S. As it turns out, if you lick Big Red wrappers and stick them on your skin it hurts. Or as Hiro says, “So pain”.
That’s why I tend to refrain from lickin’ and stickin’.
I sometimes take a lot longer to read, but that’s ’cause I dislike speed-reading. I wanna get the full message of what I’m reading, without skimming over it.
