This is my 400th post on Project Nemeth. Its hard to think that so much time has gone by. Unfortunately, I can’t properly celebrate such a wondrous occasion due to the fact that I’ve fallen ill.
Its nothing terribly life threatening, but it certainly put a damper on my day. Now, instead of enjoying an activity packed Saturday I am reduced to lying on the couch watching
The water fountain at church was under a lot of pressure for whatever reason. When anyone would press the button to release the refreshingly cool water it would shoot out of the spout with incredible force. It over shot the drain by about 3 feet. Abrik tried to catch the water in his mouth.
What do you do when you've got half a loaf of bread starting to mold? Eat it. As fast as you can, so that the mold doesn't infect the rest of the bread. But what meal uses half a loaf of bread? You've probably never heard of it, 'cause I invented it today.
Read about how I successfully got out of Jury Duty. Its a process that took me two weeks too long, but not only did I do it, it was convenient [other than taking too long].
Last night was Boles last basketball game of the year. Nate-James and I made the long voyage out to Quinlan from Dallas.
The game was good. I say “good” because I got excited watching it. I felt apart of the team and I felt the pride of the school (despite the fact that I didn’t attend there). Additionally, the team played well together in the second
This is the Weekend Rap-Up for 2.14.09. For anyone that is new to ProjectNemeth (PN) a weekend rap-up is a Rap [like the genre of music] that summarizes [wrap-up] my weekend. Its a pun. Its fun. Now I'm done.
My gas tank was near empty today so I stopped to fill 'er up. In doing so I ended up using someone else's money and almost drove off without realizing it, much less correcting the mistake. Fortunately Velma was there to help me through the mix-up.
Today I had blast playing disc golf with Austin and his dad.
My day started with waking up at my apartment to make breakfast for Nate James and myself. From there I dropped him off at his place and headed into Rockwall. There, I stopped by the rose tent to see my folks, and then went over to Pier 1 to see Emily. As I was leaving
I made dinner and had a quiet night in. As I write this the night is still young but I already feel like I did more than I had originally intended. I wanted a home-style meal. So I made mashed potatoes and pork chops. I should get back to cooking instead of writing this before it all burns.
This event was mentioned on Twitter with the following statement: "Just because I accidently saw you undressing doesn't mean I want to make small talk."
I think it accurately summarizes this post. 'Read More' to find out what I'm talking about.
The other day I was logging onto my not-so-frequently used myspace account. I did everything necessary to log-in [which sometimes feels like a lot], I entered my email address, worked hard to remember my password, and then struggled to decode those cryptic “Captcha” images. When I had been approved to proceed I was redirected to the page that you see above. Take a
Young Jeezy and his buddy NAS wrote a song called “My President”. I didn’t agree with it. I thought it was counterproductive and pointless. So I rewrote it. Then I recorded it. Me and A-Town went to the studio tonight to spit it. I think it turned out pretty tight, but let me know what you think.
Yesterday was Super Bowl XLIII. I had a blast hanging out at Angela Musser’s [she threw a killer SB Party]. The game was really intense and it came down to the final minutes. I was disappointed to see the Steelers win. Partly because I felt obligated to root for the Christian guy on the Cardinals, and partly because I didn’t like some of the blatant fouls
