Myspace Failed Geography

myspace failed

The other day I was logging onto my not-so-frequently used myspace account.  I did everything necessary to log-in [which sometimes feels like a lot], I entered my email address, worked hard to remember my password, and then struggled to decode those cryptic “Captcha” images.  When I had been approved to proceed I was redirected to the page that you see above.  Take a moment to read it now if you haven’t already.

When I first read it I was confused by it.  I couldn’t understand why it was asking me to choose between United States and the U.S.A.  To me they are one in the same.  But then I just assumed that because Myspace is fallible, perhaps it was their error and that they didn’t have a good understanding of geography.

P.S.  I’m going to post my new blog posts below “My President” because I want to be sure that everyone gets a chance to hear it.  In the WP Blog World we call that a “Sticky” post.
