Quiet Night In
I made dinner and had a quiet night in. As I write this the night is still young but I already feel like I did more than I had originally intended. I wanted a home-style meal. So I made mashed potatoes and pork chops. I should get back to cooking instead of writing this before it all burns.

P.S. Mashed potatoes are hard to mash without a mixer. I had to use a knife. 2lbs of potatoes and all I had was a little knife.
Every dorm needs a lot of knives.

I sell them short too. But then I think back to when I was their age and think of how much more I could’ve been doing if I had had older people helping me out.

Next time you make mashed potatoes you could mash them with the bottom of a cup, or a fork.
