On Sunday the sun broke out and invited us to come play with him at Harry Myers. A group of us left from church to go grab some food to-go and met up at the park to picnic and fly kites.
One of my kites [Hello Kitty] had been assembled incorrectly last time we ventured out, and because of which failed to fly properly. This week I corrected the kite and man did it soar. Flew even higher than Iron Man.
We spent so much time at the park lying around that a number of us got sun burnt. It was definitely worth it though.
Also, later that evening the small groups all united in Rowlett at Kids’ Kingdom to eat hotdogs and hang out with one another. The night/day/evening/time was a success.
