Where’s George

Wheres George

On May 2, ’06 I registered one of my dollar bills on WheresGeorge.com in order to track its progress through the free enterprise system.

Today I was notified via email that someone in Elizabethton, TN had registered my bill on the website.

I had forgotten all about the system after almost 3 years.  I was really surprised to see that someone logged it.  It was also interesting to see the the bill travelled 840 miles in just over 1000 days.  That’s .81 miles a day.  Pretty good for a piece of paper.

  3. To be quite honest, I don’t know what “word is bond” means.
    I’m white – don’t forget that!

  4. bri, that’s an old phrase – i used to hear people way older than me say it – that just means “if i said it, i’ll do what i said”.

now the concept has mostly been replaced by online credit checks and background checks. :(
