Austin, TX

Austin

It’s business—It’s business time.

I arrived back late the other night from a business seminar in Austin, TX.  It was an educational seminar teaching how to better advertise online with Google AdWords.  It was super informative and I walked away with over 50 pages of notes and 16 hours of knowledge.

My Life Coach also came on the trip.  He’s full time.  I could explain what all a life coach does, but that’s best saved for another post.

The trip wasn’t all business though.  I took advantage of my two day stay and saw some friends from high school [which wasn't that long ago], the state capitol, and some of downtown.  I had seen the capitol before, but it was nice to see it all lit up at night.  It had a king of majestic quality to it.  Also, the Capitol building is absolutely huge.  I guess it just goes to prove that everything is bigger in Texas.

On my way back up from Austin I made a long detour to visit some friends in College Station.  We had a great time at dinner.  It always nice to see Jenni and Lauren.

While on the road I thought it funny that I was at UT and A&M on the same day.

P.S.  Next time you’re in Austin you should definitely try to find Salvation Pizza.  Its real good.  Thanks to Garrick for the suggestion.

  1. Did you happen to bump into my brother? He lives in that city, and he’s a local tourist attraction, from what I hear.
