CFNI, Lecture, Scavenger Hunt, swings, water balloons, water guns

Today CFNI had a “Blackout Day”. They started a campaign for those living on campus to reduce electricity usage by turning off and unplugging things that weren’t being used. To commemorate the day the staff allowed the students to break dress code and where jeans and a black t-shirt [since it was blackout day]. As it turns out they also had a fun little event planned for the 11 o’clock hour.
It started with all 700+ exiting the main auditorium in a mass exodus. From there we quickly [chaotically] grouped up in to teams of about 10. These teams were then sent on a scavenger hunt of sorts to stop off at the different stations to obtain water balloons.
Our team was led by Chris. If you don’t know Chris than there is really no way to describe him with words, you really just have to meet him. The teams didn’t so much compete against each other as we did walk past each other a lot. Regardless, the water-balloon hunting stopped a little after 11:30 when the staff called all the students to the courtyard near the “Gazebo of Glory” [that's a story best left saved for another post].
Once we had all been gathered in for them to announce further instructions to us, they whipped out water guns and started soaking innocent students. Fortunately it wasn’t a slaughter. They had kindly equipped us with the means to return a wet revenge.
I managed to stay pretty dry,

I’m glad that someone was smart enough to bring an umbrella.
