There is a small group of us that usually meet up at the Ridge Rd. Starbucks on Sunday evenings. We have a good time getting to know different people and just hanging out. There isn’t any schedule or agenda, its just an open invite for people to come and hang out.
This week specifically we had a great group. It was cool because it was so diverse, I don’t think that [outside of this group] those same people would have hung out. But at the same time, I don’t think anyone was uncomfortable with the diversity. From what I gathered, everyone had a nice time.
The group definately got excited when we had an air show! Kevin, Brennan, and myself made some paper airplanes and so we all took a field trip to fly them in the parking lot. The planes (each a different design) flew very differently. As the planes changes hands everyone got a chance to throw them. On Lauren’s turn she threw my plane and it landed between a man’s legs. That was akward. I’m glad no one got hit by a car seeing as we were in a parking lot.
Big thanks to Starbucks for letting us congregate there.
Also, if you frequent the Ridge Rd. location be sure to watch out for the “creeper”.

P.S. I’ve been watching/listening to a lot of Mark Driscoll. He’s a Seattle based pastor, really interesting.
I need someone to point out the “creeper” to me. I’ve heard legends, but those fables only tell me so much.

Great post.
It really was a good group.
Also, can we post pictures of the creeper via twitter and blogs to make everyone aware of who he is, or is that a violation of privacy (or something along those lines?)
On another note:
I would enjoy a new PSA post.

We are allowed to take pictures of him if we are in a public place (road, sidewalk, etc.). We would be able to take pictures of him inside if starbucks allows us to.
Perhaps I should do some PSA’s on stranger danger or something like that.
