Thrifting

Today me and my partner in rhyme [A-Town] hit up some of Garland’s finest thrift stores in hopes of finding some great deals. Our adventures did yield some great deals, so in my mind it was a success. Especially since I came home with a blender, a food processor, a potato masher, and a pink polo for all under $20. Some argue that the shirt is more salmon in color than pink, but for guys who only see in Windows 16bit colors, its definitely pink.

Our game plan was to hit up Goodwill off of Broadway & 30, but we found out they don’t open until 10, and being there at 9, we decided to press on and hit up a couple other thrift stores. Our first destination was Thrift City, but we were sidetracked by a garage sale with over 300 records. As soon we finished there we did end up going to Thrift City, Texas Thrift, and another garage sale.

The deals were great and the other people shopping near us were… interesting.

  1. Ah, the joys of the thrift store. I can’t wait till I’m a college student and can truly appreciate the value of such places of business.
