‘Weekend Rap-Up’ is a weekly segment in which I write a rap which summarizes my weekend.  I’ve been doing these for a while, so if you like them feel free to scroll back through the old stuff and take a look at my other weekend rap-ups.

Friday when I got home,

I talked to my friends on the phone,

We wouldn’t meet up till later that night,

So I decided to eat a quick bite,

It was just a little something to tide me over,

Probably just a little leftover,

I killed some time at the gym,

People there said, “Who’s him?”,

I’m not a regular but would like to be,

Is that too hard to see?,

Me working out with weights and bars,

Its about as likely as me working on cars,

[I've done both]

The group of us met at Nandina’s,

Its one of my favorite japanese cocinas,

I love that they are open real late,

You could meet there at 6 hours past 8,

Saturday I woke up to go thrifting with A-town,

Garland thrift stores did not let us down,

I was a little disapointed there weren’t more stuff,

finding a blender was really tough,

I did however get some tight new threads,

The shirt would look even better with some keds,

That afternoon I locked my keys in my car,

Without my keys I couldn’t go far,

I was able later to borrow the truck,

And rent a movie for a buck,

I watched the redbox at Nate-James,

We also played some video games,

The next morning I woke up to leave,

I felt tangled by my shirt sleeve,

I went back home and had a good time with my sis,

Her personality is something I often miss,

Made it to church in time for 3rd,

My phone always vibrates thanks to the bird,

The rest of that day was kind of a blur,

I know I went to small groups for sure.
