Last night there was a pool party/grill out for the adult and intern leaders of Paradigm [the youth group I work with]. Jack Green was kind enough to let us use his house—which just so happens to be great for these kinds of shindigs.

Last night was Hiro's [the Japanese foreign exchange student] birthday and his last night with Paradigm. Quick side note: he has a going away party on Friday out in Quinlan, you should definitely go. Like I was saying, since it was his Bday and his last night with us we went out after church to celebrate the time he's been with us. And of course, since he's from Japan, we went out for sushi at SushiYamma...

Last night I was at home watching some TV when one of my friends called. It was Seth and Lori from apt 427. They said they were out in Dallas but that someone had called them saying their apartment was flooding.
Since I was home and they weren't they asked if I could run and go take a look. I threw on my shoes and ran upstairs. As soon as I turned down their hallway I could see that the water was flowing out of their room into the hallway. I called them back and said, "Its real bad,"...

What?!? You've never read a weekend rap-up? They're great, they are kind of like, ice cream, swimming, and Reagan all pulled together to make a wonderful summer treat. Its just what people need to overcome the dreadful "case of the mondays"...

Here is your New Music Tuesday treat.
For your listening pleasures.

I’m going out of town this weekend, and I’m driving a Uhaul to get there [its 17ft. long]. So that I could get started on my journey a little quicker I drove the truck to work so I could leave straight from there. Driving down the road seemed easy enough, but parking was intense. I’ve got another picture in here from a
Thanks to a generous mic donor Nathan and I were able to open [for one night only] Studio 217. As some of you can already tell from the organ in the background of the picture, Studio 217 gets its name from my apt number. That organ is in our "office" room [no one works in there]. We turned the "office" into a "studio" [now we can record in there]...

On Wednesdays I have a pretty routine schedule. Work [at BG Development] from 8-noon. Then I go home for lunch. I either work from home or go into the GLK office for a few hours. Then I meet up with whomever at Starbucks. And from there we go to church. Occasionally we stop for dinner in between Starbucks and Church, but not this week...

Yo. Brace yourself because this here is about to drop. And when it hits its going to shake the floor. But first, allow me to interject for a moment to those of you who are new to the site: This is the Weekend Rap-Up, its a catchy little weekly segment I host in which I summarize my weekends through the the use of rhythm and flows. Check it...
On Sunday Brett Morris and the gang all rendezvoused at his house for a slamming grad party. The weather was so nice that the party was hosted out back in the yard. Everyone was in attendance, and everyone in attendance had a good time. My thoughts are feeling scattered so let me just give you a run down in chronological order [for your sake and mine]...

This is picture of Juddson and I holding a picture of Juddson and I. It was the gift we gave London at his graduation party—well, part of his gift. Juddson and I gave London a three part gift involving the three most important things in life. We felt like it was practical and philosophical to give him such a gift...

Tim Sewalt and his friends did it again. The band called Stavely melted away the night with their smooth lyrics and catchy tunes. An audience of all ages gathered to see the musicians perform what many said was their greatest show. Big thanks to the Prophet Bar/Door for inviting them to come and play...

I was waiting to get footage [video or photo] of the BA performance Wednesday night before blogging about it. But its been over 24 hours and I'm sure you all are starving for a post, so I'm just going to use what I have. Here it is...

The Blender that I purchased from GoodWill had a crack in it and leaked all over the place. I definitely took that back and got my money credited back to my card. However, with all that accomplished I still was in need of a blender, fortunately Kohls happened to be having a sale on almost everything [including blenders]...

Every week I like to summarize the events and happenings of my weekend with a sick flow. I got clever with the name and so each week I publish what I like to call the Weekend Rap-Up. This week I'm going to drop it as I give a special shout out to all the mothers.
P.S. Sometimes when I freestyle I lose confidence...

Cassie isn't my mother. Some of you may have been expecting a picture of my mother and I. Instead I posted a picture of Cassie and I [and Emily's eye if you look closely] because its the only picture I took today.
Since today was Mothers' Day, my church [LakeShore Church] wanted to honor the single mothers of the community, and in doing so they hosted a wonderful lunch for the precious women...
Friday night Jordan had a birthday party. He turned 18 on Saturday and I did my part to help him celebrate. The party was hosted at Lance and Lauren's and everyone who attended had wonderful things to say about the fiesta. There was cake, some panormous pizzas, and chips and snacks and lots of fun. London brought his Wii [its funny how close that looks to "World War II" if you capitalize the "i"'s]...

Yesterday, among the sea of blue graduation caps and gowns sat some of my dear friends. They were being honored as graduates, and I was glad I was able to attend to the ceremony.
Many of them had family come to watch the proceedings. It was a wonderful moment to share with loved ones, one that the students had worked towards for two years...

We're Brett & Andrew.
Its a new "band" that I spontaneously formed with Guitarist Brett Morris. His talented fingers play melodiously while my sparkling voice carries our band towards stardom. Look for us this wednesday at Paradigm. We've landed our first gig playing an offertory [while someone takes up offering]...

The "Weekend Rap-Up" is a weekly segment that I do in which I rap a summary of my weekend. The title is a clever little pun, and for those that have followed PN for a while know that this is a highlight of the week.

Friday night Cameron hosted a Grad Party with the help of Jackie and Ashley. It was for all the CFNI students graduating from their second year. It was red neck themed, and everyone had fun with that. Some of the highlights from the night included...

Last night I had got back from the gym and was waiting for Zach to get out of the shower when Juddson called. He was down stairs and needed my help. I threw on my [house] shoes and met him in the parking lot. Someone stole his radio out of his Jeep, and we suspect that when they did they shorted the
