Grad Party

This is  picture of Juddson and I holding a picture of Juddson and I.  It was the gift we gave London at his graduation party—well, part of his gift.  Juddson and I gave London a three part gift involving the three most important things in life.  We felt like it was practical and philosophical to give him such a gift…

First let me say that I’m always down for a party.  Graduation, Birthday, Cinco De May, you name it and I’m there.  L. Grant S.’s party was no different.  He was celebrating his graduation from High School with his friends and family.  There were tons of people there and even more food. As the party was ending I found out there was a whole room full of desert that I hadn’t even seen.

We also had this cool time when we got to publicly bless London and share some things that the Lord had put on our heart for him.  I liked it a lot, especially when his Grandparents spoke.  Mr. Charlie regarded them as the “spiritual patriarchs” and its no wonder why.  I felt like both of them spoke with great authority.

Now, allow me to further elaborate on the gift Juddson and I gave London.  In the sparkling red bag that we handed him were something to represent the three most important things in life: God, People, and Money [in that order]. We couldn’t find Jesus, but we did see his mom—on a candle, so we got him one of those.  Then, so he could remember Juddson and I while he was gone at school, we gave him a picture of us [hand drawn by yours truly].  Lastly we gave him gold coins.  They are actually Rolos, the chocolate covered carmel something or another.  But they were wrapped in gold so it looked like a gold coin thing.

This afternoon I’m going to Brett’s Grad party.  Should be good.

  1. It was definitely good. I think I might stick the picture on my senior table tomorrow, since I forgot to do anything for it.

If anyone wants to come to my school during lunch or something, anyone is welcome to see my table, and contribute a drawing or picture or object of some sort.
