That’s a BA Offertory

We're BA

I was waiting to get footage [video or photo] of the BA performance Wednesday night before blogging about it.  But its been over 24 hours and I’m sure you all are starving for a post, so I’m just going to use what I have. Here it is…

Allow me to paint a picture in your mind. It was a temperate early summer’s evening.  There was a buzz in the air as everyone knew this was BA’s first public gig [sure we had done some private shows, but nothing of this magnitude].

The lights were set and the doors opened. Caleb Fauber and the Harmonic 6 opened up for us with a lengthy set.  I love performing with these guys because they really know their stuff, and even though they’ve been playing longer and arguably better—the best part about them is they aren’t to proud to still be opening for other bands.

After their set there was a short break for stage change.  During that time I met with my huddle-group fans and got prepped for the show.  The lights lowered, a short cinematic presentation informed them of an LA tour we were going to be doing, and then it all began.

As you can understand, the night had already been underway for almost an hour.  But when we took the stage, and those lights came back up, everyone knew what was about to happen.

The cheering was almost too much.  Our performance was delayed because we couldn’t sing/perform/play over the applause. Our song concluded and the MC took over and said a few words.

Our performance was epic.

UPDATE: Thanks to James Byron King IV you all can now hear the audio from the evening.  Enjoy:
