What?!? You’ve never read a weekend rap-up? They’re great, they are kind of like, ice cream, swimming, and Reagan all pulled together to make a wonderful summer treat.  Its just what people need to overcome the dreadful “case of the mondays”…

“I left work around 3 on Friday,

To go out of town for the Holiday,

There was some traffic but it wasn’t too bad,

Driving a Uhaul also wasn’t too bad,

I took a trip up to Oklahoma,

To help a friend move her home-a,

It was a lot of work to pack things up,

But we got it all loaded into the truck,

We hit the road early saturday morning,

So the kids would sleep instead of moaning,

The road was long but travelled well,

We even stopped for a spell,

But quickly got back on the road,

Because we were in drive mode,

The Uhaul didn’t have a cd player,

It did however have central air,

We kept on driving all day long,

The whole day spent driving along,

When we arrived we were warmly greeted,

I was a new face everyone meeted,

We dropped of the kids and picked up some aid,

It was nice that they helped without getting paid,

The unload went quick but there was still much to do,

Stuff needed to be arranged just so,

Exhausted from the day we all went to bed,

I was so tired I felt like I’s dead,

Woke up the next morning feeling renewed,

Ate a hearty breakfast putting me in a good mood,

We returned the Uhaul which was an ordeal,

But it all worked out as I kept it real,

I said my good byes and left for BNA,

Traveling home took most of the day,

Nate James and the crew picked me up,

It was kind of them to wash my car up,

I grabbed a pizza cause I missed some meals,

Then hung out with them ’till they left on 4 wheels,

Then I went to sleep.”
