Last night LakeShore hosted its annual Celebrate Freedom Festival, complete with fireworks display.
It was pretty tight, but super hot. And not like, “Oh dang, that new Kia is hawt!” No, it was more like, “I’m drowning in my own sweat. This is ridiculous.”
But it was all worth it when the sun settled and the fuses were lit.
The only other down side was that they sold out of Italian Ice. I was real disappointed.

also, selling out of italian ice is bittersweet, as i was scheduled to work at 8 (and lost track of time at the fireworks stand till 8 30) and we ran out of italian ice at 7 30….selling out saved my butt!
