![Weekend Rap-Up [5.30.09] Weekend Rap-Up [5.30.09]](http://projectnemeth.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/img_0876-300x225.jpg)
This is a weekly segment brought to you by Label [pronounced "luh-bell"] records. Label recently signed up as an advertiser with ProjectNemeth, they have chosen to sponsor the Rap-Up each week. Label is a brand new record label looking to make a splash in the music industry. Keep an eye out for some of their upcoming artists, because you are soon to their albums topping the charts.
Additionally, if you’ve never seen a “Weekend Rap-Up” before, allow me to explain the idea: I write a summary of my weekend with a rhyme scheme. You can either play some rap music while you read it or just beat-box your way through it. Either or—its still going to sound bumpin’.
Here we go:
Friday at work I had meetings all morning,
To say the least they were all pretty boring,
But I was excited to get off and enjoy the weeks end,
I drove back home to meet my friend,
From there we drove to the middle of no where,
The compensation for which was clean country air,
We were in Quinlan to attend a party for Hiro,
He would be leaving a few days after tomorrow,
The party was great but when it ended,
We went to the home of some people I’ve befriended,
We swam for a bit—we didn’t swim for a lot,
I wish that the pool would have been hot,
The next morning when I woke up,
I hit the power switch so my computer would boot up,
I made some eggs and ate my breakfast,
Then I coded until I was distressed,
That afternoon I went to a party for a grad,
I shook hands with the grad’s dad,
I had to leave there before it was through,
So I could attend a wedding for two,
Bethany C. and J. Ferguson,
Became one in unison,
When it was over I left with Nate James,
We went to an apt and played video games,
I got to see Hiro, Jordan, and Samuel L. Jackson,
But Samuel L. was in a movie with action,
The next morning after church was finished,
I got lost near the lake when the road vanished,
I finally found the party for Julia’s sweet sixteen,
I enjoyed the fact that no one there was mean,
From there I had to leave to go to a fiesta,
It was great but I needed a siesta,
The party was for Angela who’s was graduating,
The friends and family there were elating,
The weekend ended with some swimming that night,
It was a little cold but the water was alright.
