Weekend Rap-Ups are my way of giving back to the community. You see, now that I live in the urban city of Dallas, I feel more obliged to reach out to the under privileged inner-city children. I choose to do so with these melodic flows.
Also, I’m a killer rapper so I just do this for fun.
Friday I got packed up to go out of town,
I went far away where there’s little around,
I went out to East Texas to stay on the lake,
There were some sales I was hoping to make,
I stayed in a quaint little house on the water,
The lake was cool but the sun was hotter,
The weekend was a success—I got a solid sales lead,
To make a sale that’s all I need,
A couple of friends went out there with me,
They made for excellent company,
While out there we saw snakes a plenty,
But we didn’t have a gun nearby or ready,
We tried fishing a bit but that didn’t last,
Fishing seems like a blast from the past,
I did really enjoy diving off of the dock,
I’m glad that my head didn’t hit a rock,
This weekend’s rap-up was a little short. But I think its a classic case of quality vs. quantity. Also, I’m feeling withdrawals from my iPhone. But on Friday I get a new one and I think I’ll be more updatey then.
