This weekend myself and some guys went to Austin, TX.
With me was Austin, Richard, Jacob, and Adam. We had a blast down in the capital city [Texas Town]. We went to the Emery show and afterwards got some pizza. We checked into our room around midnight and fell asleep shortly after that. The next morning we woke up and began our assault on Austin [the city].
We went to a running store and a mall, ate at the food court—which was much better than I thought it would be—and then made a few more stops before we began our trip home.
We left Austin kind of early because I was having some minor car trouble and because we wanted to make a couple of stops on our way up. The first was Fazolli’s Italian restaurant in Waco, its the best italian I’ve had in a while and its fast food, so double awesome.
After that we headed West for a while to get to Lake Whitney. Austin C. and I jumped off the cliff there. We didn’t have much time because a storm had just blown in and it wasn’t a good idea to stand on top of a cliff with lightning all around. It did however serve to make the rush of jumping all the more intense.
Our last stop on our way back was Willie’s Place. That’s Willie Nelson’s place for those of you who don’t know. As it turns out he opened up some sort of truck stop type things with tons of memorabilia of himself. It was a big let down.
The trip was top-notch.

Austin is a fun town. I love their weird artsy festivals and stuff. The hippies are also rather exciting.
