This is a photo of me with my friends from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department [aka: the Game Warden].
I was out on the boat with Nate-James, Jordan, and Jill when these officers from the TPWD pulled along side and shouted, “Prepare to be boarded!” [they didn't really say that, but I wish they had.]. They were just doing a routine stop to make sure we had everything we needed to be out on the water. Unfortunately, as it would turn out, we didn’t.
I was missing a level 4 throwable floatation cushion, and my boat registration was out. This picture was taken after they “invited” me aboard their vessel to answer some questions and receive my citation.
The long arm of the law reached out and punched me right in the face.
