AKA: Media Shower [if you say it wrong]
Last night after youth, a small group of us hung around to watch the 2nd night of the Perseid Meteor shower.
The group of us all piled onto Juddson’s jeep and trekked out into the backwoods to find a dark spot so that none of the city lights would affect our view.
I had forgotten not only how many stars there were, but how big the sky was. Lying on my back, I could at best only see half of it because it was just too big. The sky completely wraps around you in a panoramic sort of way. Breathtaking to say the least.
To some this activity may sound boring and dull, but until you lie there in giddy anticipation waiting to “oohh” and “aaahhh” over the show God’s putting on, its difficult to grasp the greatness.
It was totally worth losing a couple hours of sleep.

we almost went out to the beach to watch it.
But it was raining.

It was amazing! One of the highlights of my week.
Side note: Tons of pizza and off roading in a jeep don’t mix well.

We all wanted to see it but LA is way way too bright. We went to the observatory but it didn’t work out very well too many people and lights.
