FLASHdance was incredible.

This is a picture of me under a sink in the bathroom.

I'm shooting some video footage with the YFN Dramical Team [Drama + Musical = Dramical], and part of my duties is to capture the audio. The current scene was being shot in the bathroom as a character sang in the mirror. I needed to be close without being in the shot, so I squeezed myself under the counter and held the mic preciously where it needed to be.

This production is going to turn out well.

I was in the CFNI Book Store with some friends when we had the idea to help them promote all the different Bibles that they have available for sale.

When Zach moved out he left me this old TV. 60% of the time it worked all the time.

Finally the other day when I was cleaning house I decided to trash it. Nathan was going to give me a hand with it but I assured him I could handle it and that he'd be better served to document the moment.

The following is the footage he captured:

Jordan [my roommate] and I were playing around with a camera and different lighting. The reason being is prep for the FlashDance party on the 26th. We want to have a photobooth where people can grab some friends and take some fun photos. I needed to make sure that the lighting would work well enough and Jordan was kind enough to help me take the photos.

We took a few, but I thought this one was nice enough to share with you all.

This is Freddy.  He’s a frog.  Also, Jordan is in this picture too.

I was hanging out with Jordan and Jill the other night when we saw this frog outside their apt.  We invited him inside and asked if he would live for a while in this tupperware.  At first he didn’t want to, but then I captured him and held him

I got all dressed up for my portrait.

I don’t know when I’ll get it in, but you can expect to see it up here on the blog.

Also, this week has been nice.

Why Not?!?

That was the theme for the house party I went to last night.  Jordan H. and Jill I. were the masterminds/host and they pulled off an excellent party.  Actually, as I discussed last night with Victoria A. they really managed to throw three parties in one.

When I arrived there was one group of people that soon left.  As they were leaving and

What!? You've never seen a "Dramical"?

They're great. Its like High School Musical, but like a thousand times better.

YFN did one last year, and it went over so well that they had no choice but to again in prep for summer of 2010. I tried out to see if I could be in it on Wednesday. I think I did pretty well, but no one knows for sure who made it yet.

I'll post some more great footage of the Dramical as things progress.

We found some roaches in our apt. I reported it to the The Indigo management and they said that an exterminator would be out on Monday, Aug. 31. But he never showed up.

I was told that in order to prep for the exterminator, everything had to be out of the cupboards in the kitchen. We gladly complied. Now the management has rescheduled the exterminator since he missed our apt. But in the mean time we aren't sure if we should bother putting everything back just to have to pull it out again in a couple of days...

Not only is there an American Mustache Institute, but there is an award for the Mustached American of the Year. And if you read this blog, I'm pretty sure you know who should be winning this award this year.
