My small group [aka: home group, life group, cell group, whatever you want to call it] is called the Mariachi-Bandits. I’m not sure why we called ourselves “bandits” other than its a play on the word “band”, but I know that we wanted to be Mariachi- because a portion of our group is hispanic [and we like to celebrate our diversity]
“Diversity Tomorrow, because today is almost over!” Is a motto I practically live by.
This particular Sunday we made Jalepeno Poppers [from scratch]. They came out delicious, but I didn’t quite get all the seeds out of one pepper, and Soung was unfortunate enough to find it.
I was sitting at the kitchen table talking with some people when she ran by screaming and crying, Ashley was right behind her shouting instructions on how to extinguish the fire in her mouth.
She was ok after a while, but I think it really surprised her.
The rest of the students had a nice time and [for the most part] enjoyed the snack.

I can’t, in my wildest dreams, imagine why someone would want to take seeds out of a jalapeno pepper. That’s where all the fun is!

@L Grant S I wrote Soung because I think “Song” is too close to the english word “song”. If she’s really as Korean as people keep saying she is, then her name should be unusual.
