Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving Break

Over the Thanksgiving break I played a lot of tennis.

The weather was beautiful, the court was free, and the exercise was over due. Perhaps so overdue in fact that my body didn’t care for it much. I’m now sore in a number of places, but it was all worth it.

And I plan to do it again as soon as it warms up.

Additionally, and as you could have guessed, I celebrated Thanksgiving in accordance with tradition by eating more than any one person should and relaxing around the TV watching the football match and talking with cousin-uncles.

A “cousin-uncle” is a term I just came up with to describe the second or third cousins that are so old you grow up calling them “uncle”.  I have a lot of these.

How was your Thanksgiving?

  1. My thanksgiving was very un-traditional.
Mom and Dad decided to ditch the extended family, and we all went down to A&M for the Thanksgiving game.
Our thanksgiving dinner was in one of the A&M cafeterias.
Definitely not the best one i’ve ever had, not to mention that I already don’t like a lot of the traditional food. Usually I’d rather just eat some Mexican food.

I have a lot of those cousin-uncles. I rarely see them, and our most significant form of contact happens over facebook when one of them informs me that I’m being “inappropriate”.

Good seeing you at the wedding too! Sorry for basically writing a book here…

  2. My Thanksgiving mostly consisted of CoD, which isn’t normal for me.

In my defense, I only liked it ’cause I kicked so much rear at it.
